Constitutive Equations
Models includes balances and very often constitutive equations. The distinct constitutive equations are suitable for different purposes and needs, e.g. they can be best suited for low or high stresses or they may be more or less complex. The flexibility of PaperSim is partially due to section models can use any constitutive equation of a type. Constitutive equations within four different fields will be available in the next release:
Permeability
Relative Permeability
- Parker-Lenhard-Kuppusamy
Stress-Strain
- Campbell
- Campbell-Ingmanson
- Wilder
- Sayegh-Gonzalez
- Constant (modified Young modulus)
Capillary Pressure
- Parker-Lenhard-Kuppusamy
- Jewett-Wilder
- Asensio
Retention
- Estridge-Han
Models can be easily compared and the constitutive equations can be chosen at run-time by the user.
